Touching base (for my readers)
I wanted to reach out to readers to connect - for the sake of connecting.
A week ago I was in D.C. on business travels and visiting my family and friends. I got to hang out with one of my favorite people, Anna (who is a great source of support with my blog). She asked me if there's a reason why I'm not writing as often, and I paused and said "You know? I don't really have one." I told Anna that even though I've been busy, I haven't had as many moments where I feel truly inspired to write about things and share them on my Blog. Anna mentioned that you can tell when a writer's post lacks passion and substance - when it's been forced. Good point.
I want to avoid writing posts "just because" as much as possible, and commit to always being as authentic with what I share - no matter how simple or silly a blog post may be. I do want to continue writing but I don't know how often it will be, so for you regular readers - I wanted to recommend following Showing Up For Yourself by email, if you don't already. You simply enter your email into the "Follow" box, confirm the email, and then anytime I do a post you'll get an email with the post. You can read it from your email or click on the link to read on the blog.
I hope that this month brings you much happiness, peace, learning, and good health. Talk soon-ish! :)
